Field exercise at the Ancient Theater of the Asclepieion of Epidaurus

We inform you that on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a field exercise will take place at the Ancient Theater of the Asclepius of Epidaurus, in the presence of the Ministers of Culture and Climate Crisis & Civil Protection, focusing on the organized evacuation of the audience in the event of a forest fire.

The exercise is being conducted as part of a memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, aiming to control the procedures and identify issues to be resolved in case of the need to interrupt a performance and organize the evacuation of the audience from the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus.

Visitors to the archaeological site are requested to follow the instructions of the security personnel during the exercise and to comply with the directives.
